Advantages
The compact yet powerful design makes maintenance easy. The actuator/spring unit can be removed from the brake body for overhaul; this leaves the brake body in the original mounting position so no realignment is necessary, cutting down the maintenance time. We use long life springs in our design that have an advantage over the use of conical disc spring type that have a short life, enabling the wheel brakes to be used as service or emergency brakes.
